Wikimundo is an Encyclopaedia and we have a certain style for this wiki to be written in. Any visitor is welcome to contribute to the Wikimundo as long as they follow our guide and help to categorise correctly.

[edit] Categorising

Every page should be "categorised" inside Wikipedia. This enables the encyclopaedia to grow. Category Tags should be placed at the bottom of a page, and can be linked to more than one page.
Example:

[[Category:Terminology]]
[[Category:Character]]

[edit] Page Creation

The first few lines of a new page should describe what that page is about. Some of the key words also need to be linked to the terminology page.
Example:

This Character is a Citizen of London and joined Popomundo in June of 2007.
He has a baby called Janine and highest chart entry was #56

During the opening description, key words should be linked to their relevant Terminology or Information pages by using 'link brackets'. Using the example above, this is done:

This [[Character]] is a [[Citizen]] of [[London]] and joined [[Popomundo]] in June of 2007.
He has a baby called Janine and highest chart entry was #56

• {{category}} - Used for Categories, indexing a series of similar pages.
• {{cleanup}} - Used for pages that need to conform to a better quality of Wikimundo style.
• {{Restyle}} - Used for pages that need to fit within Wikimundo Style Guide.
• {{placeholder}} - Used for new page creations by admin, awaiting content
• {{neutrality}} - Used when pages are not written in third person
• {{delete}} - Used when a page is listed for deletion

[edit] Third Person

Wikipedia is an Encyclopaedia, and for that reason pages should be written in a neutral, third person format. Please see our Policy for more information.

[edit] Uploading Images

You may upload images to Wikimundo as long as they do not break our Policy

Images From Popomundo MUST be tagged with

{{Popoimage}}

All other images should be categorised with

<noinclude>[[Category:Images]]</noinclude>

We have size restrictions on some images, failure to be at this size will see them deleted:

• Character Page Images are restricted to: 114 x 156 pixels
• Company Page Images are restricted to : 300 x 158 pixels
• Artist Page Images are restricted to: x pixels
• Locales Page Images are restricted to: x pixels
• Tribe Page Images are restricted to: x pixels

Your file MUST follow this naming convention otherwise it will be deleted.

Characters Image - i.e. Character-FeeneyFace-FeeneyMadden

Character-ImageName-Author

Logo's - i.e. Logo-It'sPop-Popomundo

Logo-ImageName-Author

[edit] Styling

Certain "wiki codes" can be used to add emphasis to the style of a page, however they should not be overused.

<br/> to start on a new line, 
double <br/> for a new paragraph.

At the Start and End of a word...Use, 
'' italics, (''italic'')
''' for bold, ('''bold''')
== for a new header,  (==Header==)
=== for a new sub-header. (===SubHeader===)
